"My relationship with Lesley and Adrian Olabuenaga is dated back to Memphis time.

When I met Lesley and Adrian in Los Angeles, I discovered that these persons who live so far away from me, have the same tension and ambition to discover new forms and languages for the contemporary design.

Since then we cultivated a thin, but strong relationship that allows us to meet during the years between New York and Milan.

Their house in Maui is always an important destination and I keep in me the hope to see the famous Hawaii and to visit the ACME studio and not last to see the house designed by Ettore Sottsass who was always very proud when he talked about this project.

Lesley and Adrian are the most coherent and passionate persons towards the design among the people that I know.
